The Centre for Fine Arts presents a retrospective of the work of Per Kirkeby (born in 1938), one of the key painters of the Danish avant-garde. But just what does avant-garde mean: rupture, minimalism, abstraction, borrowings, subversion? One can find all of those in a prolific body of work that began in the 1960s in the wake of the Fluxus movement. Read more !

BOZAR selected Brandl museumlogistics.com to perform on the logisticsfor the Kirkeby-exhibition. From museum and private collections from all over Europe paintings and sculptures are beeing packed, crated and shipped to Brussel.  Amongst the institutional lenders are the leading museums in Denmark, the AROS AARHUS KUNSTMUSEUM, the LOUISIANA MUSEUM OF MODERN ART in Humlebaek, the Castello di Rivoli Museo d’Arte Contemporanea in Turin, the STEDELIJK MUSEUM in Amsterdam, the MUSEES DE STRASBOURG in Strassbourg (France), the FOLKWANGMUSEUM  in Essen (Germany) and the SPRENGEL MUSEUM in Hannover (Germany), lending the " forbidden paintings" of Kurt Schwitters.
