Pinakothek der Moderne Munich - to Museum of Fine Arts Houston

The "Lepanto-Cycle" by artist Cy Twombly needed to be packed and shipped to Houston. In agreement with the conservators of the Doerner Institute in Munich we provided a shipping case study for the project. Fully insulated climate controlled slot cases were built to specification in our carpentry. Packaging and crating was carefully carried out. The logistics concept included GPS-monitoring of the vehicle on it's way from Munich to Amsterdam airport, careful palettization at KLM in Schipohl in cooperation with our colleagues from Van Kralingen, and a safe arrival of the shipment in Houston.
